# iDeliver

## Overview

iDeliver is a standalone application which enables SBAs to monitor a women’s progress during labor. VecnaCares partnered with Johns Hopkins University to build clinical decision support algorithms and patient management guidelines based on WHO protocols. iDeliver incorporates these tools into a data capture application to enable faster and more informed decision-making at point of care. Furthermore, by making quality measurement and monitoring routine, iDeliver drives the quality of care improvements necessary to improve maternal health outcomes and put an end to preventable maternal deaths.

### Context

* 800 women die every day from pregnancy & childbirth related complications 
* 99% of these deaths occur in low resource settings in low & lower-middle income countries 
* 60% of these deaths could be prevented
